ADS2000 Series Anti-UAV Defence System
As UAVs have been widely used in our daily life, unauthorized flight of UAVs (known as “black flight”) has raised security and privacy concerns, such as terrorist attacks, espionage or other malicious activities against critical infrastructures. The UAVs with low-altitude, low-speed and small-size could be barely detected by using traditional technologies, such as radar, optical sensors. Relying on satellite navigation technology and trajectory planning technology, the UAVs which flying beyond visual range bring more security risk .
To resolve the problems which brought by the UAVs, the R&D team of BeiDou Industry Safety Institute has developed ADS2000 Series Anti-UAV Defense System (AUDS) based on jamming technology. ADS2000 system is able to deliver the high fidelity simulated signal with low power (a little bit higher than real GNSS signal power). The UAVs will work abnormally when the satellite-navigation-modular in the UAVs received the simulated signal. As a result, the UAVs would be expelled or forced landing depending on different control strategies of them. Compare with other AUDS, this system has the follow advantages:
Low-power transmission: minimum effect to the environment;
All-weather , all-time, all-airspace defence;
Low-cost: without detection components (such as radar);
Light-weighting and portable;
Set up easily and no special requirements to mount location;
The defense range is adjustable.
The system is able to be applied to static states and dynamic scenarios. Static states include private area, critical infrastructures (military area, prison, and oil depot), etc. Dynamic scenarios include regular patrol, fleet protection, materials escorting, etc.
ADS2000 Series Anti-UAV Defense System involves three models: ADS2100C (static states ),
ADS2200C (Dynamic Area) ,and ADS2300C (Portable).
